Our story

In 2014 we decided to design and import a brand of fixed gear bikes. The name of the line was kontrast. The bikes were unique and presented consumers with an innovative approach focused on creating a personalized product. The line had over 40k followers on facebook, was distributed across Puerto Rico in over 10 stores and at Costco, also reaching consumers globally with amazon and ebay selling platforms. From this experience we continued to explore further and not only bring our product portfolio but also started importing quality supplies for companies and with the vision of also serving the government.

Elsie is an entrepreneur, mom of two, that created the business with the vision of also providing a space to give her family an entrepreneurial lab. She is a seasoned marketer with over 30 years of experience working in multi-national companies. She has an entrepreneurial acumen having created and managed successful businesses such as: alius, kontrast bikes, vertica fins , among others.
Elsie has designed a unique process enabling okto in becoming a top of the class global enterprise serving both the government and global consumers.

Engineering is at our core. Ronald has over 25 years of engineering expertise serving global pharmaceutical companies in project management with billion dollar Capital projects. He has also entrepreneurial expertise after having created and managed AB inpections serving top companies such as PREPA for over 15 years.
With okto Ronald is pushing forward his extensive project management know-how and providing clients with an agile import experience.
